Hi & welcome!

I’m Arleen, owner of Arleen Bathgate Photography. I live in Suffolk with my two mini Bathgates and my husband. This is us on the left, believe or not, this was a self portrait! Something I've decided is now our annual Mother's day tradition.

I’m a people photographer covering Suffolk, Norfolk and beyond - I love to travel so don't be afraid to ask if I'm willing to get on a train, plane or even boat, the answer will always be yes!

My desire to photograph was ignited by my husband; our combined love for photographs and decorating our home with them led to me getting a ‘real’ camera. From then on, I immersed myself into learning and for over ten years have never looked back.

Capturing connection and personality is what drives me, I live for the ‘moments in between’ as well as the big ones. 

We are surrounded by an array of different locations in Suffolk and Norfolk, from coastlines to the woods and fields. Come rain or shine, I love to create beautiful portraits all year round.
